Summing up the last couple months...

Here are some pictures of the last couple of months.
Hunter is now 5 1/2 months old. When he went in for his shots this month he weighed 15lbs (50th percentile) and 26in long (90th percentile). He reaches to me now, I LOVE IT!! We just love him more and more each day. Enjoy the pictures.

Hunter holds his bottle at the bottom. It is so cute.

This is how Hunter looks at me when I sing to him. I think it is so cute that he smiles at my voice. He reaches to me too so he can dance with me.

This is Hunter's favorite book. He is teething now so he eats it all the time.

This is one of my favorite pictures. Hunter has this new exersaucer toy (THANK YOU KRISHELE!!) He absolutely loves it!! But in this picture he is holding on for dear life because I am spinning the toy around.

This is Hunter looking at his favorite toy.

Grammy got Hunter all 26 baby einstein DVD's. Hunter's favorite is Baby MacDonald. It is all about farming (go figure, farming must run in his blood :-)) He will watch the whole video!! He loves baby einstein.
Kayla came for a visit. We had so much fun!!
One day when I brought Hunter in from the car I noticed that he was sucking on his car seat toy. It must have swung into his mouth and he just started sucking!! It was so cute.

Hunter loves to play with my hair!! He has quite a grip, so sometimes it is not so cute!!
Hunter had his first spoon fed rice cereal. He loved all of it. He would start crying if I didn't shovel it in fast enough!!

Beauty (our dog) and Hunter are good friends. Beauty is great with Hunter.

Tara let us borrow this Boppy seat. Hunter likes to sit up and look around.

Daddy loves to put his hat on Hunter. Isn't this adorable!!

Oh and my favorite.....Daddy Day Spa. Hunter loves his massages.
This is a picture of a comedian Brian Regan. Philip and I went to his show. He is sooooo hilarious and he is a very clean comedian!! Philip and I laughed for two hours straight!! Our bodies hurt so bad because we had laughed so much. If any of you get a chance to see him live, jump at it!!

My best friend Emily

While I was home for Christmas my best friend from high school called me. Her name is Emily (Donoho) Lovelady. We went out to lunch and got caught up with our lives. I was so excited to hear from her!! We were always together in high school. Even when I went to college in Idaho Emily came out to visit me!! How awesome is that. We had lost touch for a while but I still thought about her often and wondered how she was doing. She is married now to Austin and she has a successful career in the Agriculture field. She also helps her hubbie run his own business. Oh how our lives change so fast!! Here are some pictures of us from high school and college because I forgot to take a picture when we went out to lunch. Thank you Emily for being such a great friend.

Cousins

These are three little cousins that were born this happy year. All a couple of months apart.
Cody Cleverley(Tara's), Hunter Duffin (mine), and Eden Nicolaysen (Shantae's)

Isn't this sooooo cute!! Hunter just kind of fell on Eden's shoulder it was adorable.

Oh the weather outside is frightful......

We went over to my in-laws for Christmas Eve Dinner, and the annual family talent show. Christmas Dinner was great and I think it was the funniest nativity and talent show we have had. Then we all left to go to our homes and we would return the next day to open presents on Christmas morning. Hunter woke us up at 6am that morning and right after we woke up the power went out. All of our heat sources rely on electricity so we were in trouble. We decided to pack up really quick and head over to the Duffin's. On our way we got stuck in a huge drift. We were stuck there for a couple of hours. Luckily Ray (my father-in-law) came to our rescue with the tractor and plowed our way to his house. We were snowed in for a couple of days. It was actually quite an adventure. Here are the pictures.

We could not see very far.

Ray in the tractor leading the way.

This is alot of snow!! See the kids house at the right of the picture.... Well I guess you can only see the roof :-)

I swear we did not make this with our hands. After Ray was done plowing the driveway we saw this funny shaped piece of snow. Surprisingly enough it looks just like the state of Idaho!! Isn't that great!

BABIES BABIES WE LOVE BABIES

Hunter is proud to announce......
The birth of his new baby cousin Cody Ray Duffin
Born on Dec 20, 2008 6lbs 15oz and 20 1/2 in long
They are 2 1/2 months apart. When I held Cody I came to the realization that Hunter has grown alot in the past 2 1/2 months. It blows me away how fast they grow. I want to hold on to every minute.
Here is Philip and I holding Baby Cody at the Hospital.
CONGRATULATIONS TARA & GREG!!!
